SiteBridge has created a marketplace for clinical trials that connects doctors/patients with critical clinical-trials. They have a big focus on getting information on these often lifesaving clinical-trials out to rural areas where the healthcare systems often aren’t attached to universities which makes them less likely to know about the various clinical-trials.
The Triangle Tweener Fund strategy is to build an index – smaller investments in a relatively large number of companies. At the current fund size this translates to 10-15 investments a quarter, or 40-60 a year. If you’ve been involved with traditional venture funds (picking winners) this pace seems impossible. Trust us, it’s not easy, but it’s definitely possible and the opportunity is there.
