We’re excited to welcome another CleanTech company to the portfolio with Phinite. Phinite turns animal farms into renewable fertilizer generators. Their proprietary robotic system turns animal waste into granular fertilizer rich in phosphate screating a circular cycle for the waste to be re-used and preserve Earth’s resources.
The Triangle Tweener Fund strategy is to build an index – smaller investments in a relatively large number of companies. At the current fund size this translates to 10-15 investments a quarter, or 40-60 a year. If you’ve been involved with traditional venture funds (picking winners) this pace seems impossible. Trust us, it’s not easy, but it’s definitely possible and the opportunity is there.
